Honor Your Harvest: Full Moon in Aries
Reclaim Your Fire. Honor Your Harvest.
The Harvest Moon rises tonight, glowing wide and golden across the autumn sky. It is the final supermoon of the year and a celestial reminder that what we’ve nurtured all year is now coming into full bloom. This moon, often the brightest of the year, carries the energy of completion, courage, and renewal. It is a time of gratitude, of release, of gathering what has ripened and letting go of what has withered. It’s known as the Harvest Moon because it once guided farmers during the final gathering of crops, but symbolically, it guides us to gather what our soul has grown this year.
This full moon falls in Aries, the sign of bold beginnings, and with it carries a wild, primal energy that ignites us to return to ourselves and to our passions. Aries, ruled by Mars, is the initiator, it is bold, passionate, and unafraid to begin again. As the sun sits in Libra, this moon creates a luminous balance with the energy of fire and air, action and harmony. We are asked to harvest our growth, not just in what we’ve done, but in who we’ve become.Yet because this moon sits opposite of Libra's soft air, it reminds us that passion without peace burns out quickly and the balance lies in embodied action and doing what your soul calls for. Under this full moon, you may feel an urge to break free from old patterns, to speak your truth louder, to chase what you’ve been hesitating on. You may feel waves of release, bursts of confidence, or even emotional clarity. Trust it all. This is the universe aligning you with what’s real and ready. It’s time to reclaim your inner fire, and to move forward with clarity and courage.
Harvest Moon Rituals
As the moon rises tonight, create a moment that feels sacred and intentional. Here are some rituals you can do tonight to tap into and harness the energy of the Harvest moon.
Cleanse and Ground
Begin by cleansing your space with sage, rosemary, palo santo or our smudging bundle to clear the energy. You can use a grounding crystal such as black tourmaline, our black tourmaline pendant, or smoky quartz to help protect and ground your aura. Take some time to focus on your breathing, and as you do, visualize yourself rooted to the earth. Then say out loud:
“I am safe to let go. I am grounded in my truth.”
Harvest Reflection
Under the glow of the moon, write down everything you’ve created, healed, or survived this year. As you reflect, take time to think about all that you are grateful for, all of the blessings that came into your life, the lessons that you have learned, and the growth that has shaped you into who you are today. As you read over your list, hold a candle or crystal, you can use our selenite pendant or intention candles to amplify your gratitude. Feel warmth move through you. That’s your harvest.
Release Ritual
On a piece of paper write down what you want to release, is there anything that is holding you back that you want to let go of, or anything that no longer feels aligned with who you are. If there are any negative experiences, fears, or expectations that you want to let go of, write it all down. Then, once you have your list, place the piece of paper over your heart and say:
“I release what no longer serves me. I make space for what’s meant to grow.”
Then safely burn or bury it under the moonlight, returning its energy to the earth.
Moon Water
Fill a jar with filtered water and set it beneath the moon. Add a few grains of sea salt or a clear quartz crystal. Infuse it with your intention for this Harvest Moon, for example you could say:
“May this water remind me of my strength and purpose.”
Then let the moon water sit overnight and use it later to anoint your candles, crystals, or pulse points before meditation or journaling.
Embody The Fire
Aries energy thrives in motion. Move your body by dancing, stretching, or walking beneath the moon. Let your body express release and renewal. Movement enables the body to release any stagnant or unwanted energies. You can also make contact with the earth and visualize the energy leaving your body and entering back into the earth where it will transmute that energy.
As you move, affirm:
“My spirit is alive. My path is clear. I am free.”
This Harvest Full Moon is your invitation to remember that even as the seasons shift and cycles end, your fire remains. It’s a celestial invitation to reap your inner harvest and to honor your growth, and to intentionally release what has run its course. You’ve weathered seasons of uncertainty, tended the soil of your soul, and now, under this glowing moon, you stand at the threshold of new beginnings. You have come farther than you realize and you’re ready for what’s next.
